Teach One to Lead One®

Celebrate Life International (CLI) exists for one reason and one reason only--to make a difference in the lives of young people. Our team has a passion to make a positive difference in the lives of kids who are in trouble. CLI is dedicated to transforming at-risk kids into responsible citizens by building their character based on practical leadership skills and universal ethical principles.

Teach One to Lead One® (T1L1) is a philosophy that was born out of the need to help young people turn away from destructive choices and into positive habits which will help them grow into responsible citizens. The philosophy is founded on three crucial elements: universal principles taught to young people in the context of healthy relationships between youth and adult mentors with a spirit of adventure and celebration.

The Teach One to Lead One® program is a team mentoring program that is made available to caring adults all over the world who want to become mentors. These volunteer mentor teams partner with Celebrate Life International to implement the Teach One to Lead One® Program. The program is comprehensive and effective, yet simple to facilitate, fun, exciting and geared toward youth in grades 6th through 12th. This program is easily adaptable to different time-frames and classroom settings. It is to be delivered by a team of volunteer mentors working together and focuses on the mentor-student relationship.

The training and support for implementing this program is available through Celebrate Life International. The program should be implemented by at least two caring adult mentors working together as a team. Preferably, there will be a ratio of 1:5 adult mentors to students within each program setting.

The Teach One to Lead One® program components includes 12 Curriculum-based sessions, In-Service Learning Activity and Graduation.
